GaelGael are a working community based in Glasgow. Through a variety of social and practical based projects and activities they work together to re-kindle a sense community and purpose in Govan, an area that has suffered from the loss of its historiical ship-building industry.
GalGael stands against scarcity, loneliness and violence - standing for compassion, justice and humanity.
Based out of a community workshop in Govan, GalGael host open workshop nights and share wood-working skills. They celebrate their heritage through boat builiding and boat activities, believing that working together in demanding, shared tasks helps to demonstate ways of living with more humanity in modern times.
